What is Deyo?
Deyo is a website customer messenger that answers from registered websites, files, and Q&A, then keeps the conversation for a human teammate when needed.
Which file formats are supported?
PDF, Markdown, TXT, JSON, JSONL, and CSV are supported. Image-only scanned PDFs need OCR first.
Does Deyo update a website automatically?
Do not assume automatic synchronization. Review the source state and start a manual resynchronization when the website changes.
How should I test answers?
Use representative questions, paraphrases, and questions that should be declined or handed off. Check the cited source as well as the response.
Can Deyo guarantee there will be no hallucinations?
No AI system should make that guarantee. Current sources, explicit Q&A, testing, feedback review, and human handoff reduce risk.
How do I install the widget?
Copy the workspace script from Settings > Install, allow the production domain, load it once, and test on the real origin.
Does Deyo provide a WordPress plugin?
Deyo currently provides a general installation script, not a native WordPress plugin. It can be used only where your WordPress setup permits custom scripts.
Where do teammates answer a handoff?
Slack and email notify the team. The actual conversation and reply are handled in Deyo Inbox.
What should be handed to a person?
Account checks, refunds or changes, explicit requests for a person, and questions without enough evidence should go to an authorized teammate.
Does the trial require a card?
No. The seven-day trial can start without a card and does not automatically charge without one.
What are the Free limits?
Free currently includes 30 AI conversations per month, 1 MB of processed text, 3 knowledge sources, and 50 web pages per import.
Is knowledge separated by workspace?
Deyo's sources, conversations, and usage are scoped to a workspace. Invite only teammates who require access.
Is Deyo GDPR compliant?
Deyo does not currently publish a GDPR compliance claim. Review the current Privacy Policy and contact Deyo for your specific legal assessment.
Can the widget run on any domain?
The workspace can restrict allowed origins. Test that an unapproved origin cannot initialize the widget.
Does Deyo execute account actions?
No. Deyo explains registered knowledge; it does not execute refunds, order changes, or customer-account updates.
